Anyo Project

The Anyo project is a porphyry copper-gold-silver (Mo) deposit, located 90 km to the south of the City of Cusco, in the Apurimac region in southern Peru. The property is comprised of four concessions covering 4,000 hectares located at elevations between 3,500 and 3,800 m asl. Access is by a 220 km paved highway from Cusco to the Las Bambas mine then one hour south on a dirt track road.

Anyo project is part of a the Metallogenetic province called Cristo de Los Andes, a very new exploration corridor hosting Cu-Au porphyries along 16 km in west-east direction, similar and parallel to the structural control hosting the mineralized porphyries of the Cu-Mo Haquira deposit (First Quantum) and the Cu-Mo porphyries of Las Bambas mine (MMG), located 5 km and 8 km to the north of Anyo property, respectively. All this structural deformation is part of the main Abancay deflexion.

Exploration Campaigns

The studies completed in Anyo include exploration campaigns by five different companies from 1993 to 2014.

Southwestern Resources – Minera Cambior, 1993 - 1994

This was a JV created to explore the Cristo de Los Andes corridor (CDLAC). The exploration work included geologic mapping, surface sampling, geophysics survey (41 km IP and 51 km Mag), 29 drilled boreholes. No information is registered on Panoro's data room.

Cominco Peru SRL, 1995

Completed an IP Geophysics survey and drilled 11 holes along the CDLAC, at the Yanaorjo, Oscollo and Anyo targets. Two of these drill holes were located in the Anyo property and drilled cores  are currently owned by Panoro.

Cordillera de Las Minas S.A., 2003

In 2003 the property was released and CDLM requested a total of 4,000 hectares. Surface geologic mapping at 1:5000 scale and 109 rock chip samples were taken.

Panoro Minerals, 2008 - Present

In the 2014 campaign, exploration work was carried out, 806 rock chip samples, 52.3 km from Mag, 42.3 km of spontaneous potential, 55.65 km of IP and a geological survey at 1:2000 scale.
